Zaltandi World Dance Festival

An all inclusive event, Zaltandi showcases the beauty of cultures and diversity of our community through dance. This is a performance of dance styles from all ethnicities.

At 7 p.m., Brazilian jazz fusion band Beleza headlines the festival, bringing melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic riches from South and North America.

Join us at Ix Art Park on Saturday, August 31st to kick off the 2019 Freefall festival series!

As with all six Freefall dates, this event is FREE to the public. All ages welcome! Freefall events include a bounce house, coloring tent, and kid-friendly food truck.

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock, LOVEFEST is a family-friendly, FREE concert, celebrating THE GIFT: the volunteers, free programs and social services that make living in Charlottesville more equitable for everyone.

As well as an all-star lineup of 10 LIVE BANDS, emulating the '69 music of Woodstock, ere also hosting a “Free Store” and a “Trust Cafe” - and looking at ways to manifest the potential of the "Gift Economy." No spectators here. Be part of of this transformative day in creating a collaborative, creative community based on trust, gratitude and love.

Get ready for the 7th annual Cville Sabroso: Charlottesville's annual Latin American music and folklife festival.

Organized with Sin Barreras, Cville Sabroso includes authentic food, music, and dance from many different Latin American countries. Plus kids activities and more for the whole family. A whole day of colorful events from the traditional to the contemporary.

It's harvest time around Central Virginia, and we're pairing local folk music with local food!

Wild Common headlines, playing songs about life and about love in a style that flows through bluegrass, country, jazz, folk, rock, reggae, funk, and soul.

Bayou Faux Pax (Cajun) and Ragged Mountain String Band (Appalachian) open.

Plus, we’ll be joined by locally sourced food trucks and Market Central, supporting local farms, farmers markets, and entrepreneurs.
